About Eco Steel Roofing

What this site is

Eco Steel Roofing exists to answer one question well: if you want a metal roof in Canada, what should it cost, which style fits your climate, and who can install it near you? The site pairs a directory of more than 4,200 Canadian roofing companies with in-depth guides, interactive cost tools, an interactive map, and researched profiles of metal and steel specialists, in English and French.

Who runs it

The site is built and maintained by David Bussell, a Canadian digital marketer and web builder. It is independent: no manufacturer, contractor or association owns any part of it, and nobody can pay to change how they appear in rankings or research.

Where the data comes from

• Listings come from public business records, cleaned and de-duplicated. Each researched profile states what we found on the company's own website and the date we looked.
• Map coordinates come from the GeoNames gazetteer (CC BY 4.0), placed at city level.
• Cost figures are published ranges, with every calculator assumption disclosed on the page where it's used.
• Reviews: we link to independent platforms (Google, BBB, HomeStars) rather than copying their scores. We never invent ratings, and listings carry no stars until real, verifiable review data exists.

The rules we follow

• Rankings use disclosed, factual criteria only. The methodology is printed at the top of the rankings page.
• Anything we couldn't verify is labeled as a search link or a detected mention, never presented as fact.
• Companies can claim their listing to correct facts at no cost.
